About us
New Fairfield, Connecticut · Founded 2020
Ubiquitous was founded in 2020 with a straightforward premise: the tools that connect e-commerce platforms to accounting software should just work — reliably, accurately, and without requiring a consultant to interpret the results.
We're based in New Fairfield, Connecticut, and we build every product to solve a problem we encountered directly. SyncMyCart grew out of watching merchants reconcile Shopify orders to QuickBooks by hand. TheReconciliator came from auditing QuickBooks files that had accumulated years of sync errors. QBOToolBox came from needing a safe way to snapshot and restore accounting data before making large changes.
We are a small, technical team — engineers first. That means our products are built to handle edge cases, not just the happy path. Multi-currency, split payments, gift cards, refunds with partial restocks — the things that break most integrations are the things we designed around.
We also believe in giving back to the communities that support us. WhatsUp New Fairfield is our free, AI-moderated community bulletin board for our hometown — tag sales, job postings, local events, and lost & found. No ads, no fees, just a useful tool for the town we call home.
If you're dealing with a sync problem, a data integrity issue, or you just need someone who has actually looked at 10,000 QuickBooks files to tell you what's wrong — we're the right call.
Every product we ship is designed to handle the edge cases — split payments, multi-currency, partial refunds, gift cards. The hard stuff is what we built for.
We don't hide errors in logs. Our tools surface problems clearly so you can fix them, not wonder what happened to an order three months later.
Small team, direct access, fast iteration. When something breaks, you talk to the engineer who built it — not a tier-one support queue.
WhatsUp New Fairfield is our commitment to the town we're based in. Free, always — because useful tools shouldn't require a subscription.
As a focused independent shop, we can't anticipate every problem before a customer encounters it. That's not a limitation we're apologizing for — it's the reason our products actually get better. Every edge case a real merchant hits, every workflow that doesn't quite fit, every "it would be great if it could also do this" — that's our roadmap.
If something we built doesn't work the way your business works, that's a conversation, not a support ticket. If the fix makes the product genuinely better for everyone, we build it. That's the bar — and it keeps things honest on both sides.
Tell us what you needHow we build
Too much software is designed to maximize upgrade revenue, not customer value.
A new version number on a nearly identical product is a business model, not progress. We don't operate that way. If your workflow hasn't changed, your bill shouldn't either.
We listen to feature requests carefully. If something can be built in a way that makes the product genuinely better for everyone — not just a one-off workaround — we build it. That's the bar. It keeps the products focused and the roadmap honest.
Good architecture means you can add features without breaking what already works. We invest in that foundation so when your business grows or a platform changes its API, we can respond — not apologize.
